More Bad News. I just got handed the final numbers and they have proved to be most disheartening:

In a real surprise from last year, LRCX also lost market share to KLAC, ASML, JCI, and LEA.

The latter two were a real surprise. I thought that Bagley had said that LRCX was gaining share as a Tier One supplier ... but, to lose market share to Johnson Controls and Lear is a bit terrifying. How can we possibly expect to pick up additional business at DCR, F, and GM is we can not beat the leading Tier One suppliers? Next thing you know, we will be losing share to Delphi and Visteon.

Duker,

Re:It was good to hear that NVLS took market share from LRCX last year???

I laughed when I saw that. How can anyone take his tech picks seriously when he makes statements like that? That's kinda like saying go long AAPL b/c they have the friendly GUI interface. Get with it guy!
