Actually, that will work on anything except ie. It will work on ie also if you don't have it in Full Screen mode. In Full Screen mode, clicking on the "size" button in the upper-right corner takes you out of Full Screen mode. In fact, ie4 didn't even have a size button -- only minimize and maximize -- when you were in Full Screen mode.

I like ie Full Screen mode for the extra amount of screen it gives you and also aesthetically. Don't know why Netscape hasn't gone all the way with this.

I've tried that and never got it to stick. My preference was just the opposite, I was trying to get IE4 to open additional windows in a minimized state but couldn't. However, it seemed to have a mind of it's own--one day I would find it had changed and it would open minimized for a week or so and then it would be back to maximize without me ever having a say-so. Hmmm, maybe the wife is the culprit, could it be that she knows something I don't?

Explorer window size saving:

Your question aroused my curiosity. I took a peek into my registry and discovered a key 'Save Settings' set to zeros. I looked at IE4 and couldn't find any way to change this. Curious! I took a quick peek at my choices in Tweek-UI and found an explorer 'save settings' option there. I didn't experiment with it before typing this post, so it may not be the answer, but, it wouldn't take much effort to give it a try and see if it gets you where you're wanting to go.

If this DOES work, please let me know, PW.
