I can't find any new benchmarks on Tom's site. Assuming you're not referring to the ones from two months ago (which we thoroughly thrashed already), please post a link to the numbers. As to Omid joining forces with Tom, this is surely one of the signs of the apocolypse. "Hellspawn" is an appropriate term here. For those of you unfamiliar with Mr. Rahmet's work, he's been slamming 3dfx (and, strangely, PC gaming in general) for many years from a monthly column in "Gamasutra." 3dfx shorts have referred to his columns here in the past. I stopped reading them a _long_ time ago. Now that he's on Tom's site, it's even _easier_ to not read him! If you've not read his work before, try the 3dfx/nVidia piece and then ask yourself "Did I learn _anything_?" Chip stockcharts.com
