I can't imagine people surfing the web via the telephone unless the telephone comes with a 17" screen and a 2 x 4 Key pad.<eom>

Mention two of my stocks (almost) AWRE will gain from the Web Phone (see I told you all) and QCOM.

Also, look at PAIR and COMS both look to have bottom, I'm going to start fishing on COMS.

My guess is this would be positive for PCs. This sounds more like a device to assist someone who happens to be away from their computer. As people find they need to be connected to the net more often, they'll be more likely to want to connect via PC. The phone will NOT replace the PC for Internet surfing. Web TV provides a good alternative, but in the short-run there will need to be more than one in the house or there will be much fighting over the remote when junior's favorite cartoon comes on.

I believe the "new era" has been coined "PC Plus", meaning that PCs will not go away but consumers will simply add all of these new devices to their surfing arsenal.
