sanders' BS vs. FACTS

consider the following :

SANDERS:

"We believe that we will be able to have the highest performance
Windows-compatible processor for the next six to 12 months,"
boasted chief executive W.J. "Jerry" Sanders at AMD's recent
conference call.

FACTS:

Intel over the next couple of years is going
to be able to take back a substantial amount of market share from
Advanced Micro Devices and National Semiconductor and
essentially go from having about 75% of market share to maybe as
much as 90%, and do it all while lowering their cost structure.

like "caries sharptooth" k7 will likely be the n-th wannabe that
doesn't make it from the fab to the market place.
