Fiber optics will cost T ALOT!

by: ECommerceRules (41/M/Pasadena, CA) 168827 of 168827

Yes it's all fine and dandy that T will be upgrading the whole country to fiber optics, and cable access...but now let's look at the bottom line...AOL will have deals with phone companies through DSL...what cost is there? They lease, then charge the customers...what cost does T have? They spend BILLIONS to lay these fiber optics all over the country...then have to keep the cost down to consumers, because DSL will be going even cheaper since there really is no cost to the phone companies because they are aready installed in most areas...the baby bells will come out the winners here, along with AOL....and T will be the ones picking up the BIG BILL...Let's see what investors will have to say when the reality finally sinks in...Good luck to all.

here is some TA on AOL:

I do not agree with the Raging Bull trendline. They have chosen the 4/19 low of 115 as one of the bases to the line. At that time, my ta put the line at about 107. Their line was way too steep. I am a big believer in trendlines and I do not believe the AOL line has been broken yet. Currently, my line sits at about 118. Trend is still intact(barely).
