Lintec <LICG.F> signs sales deal with Intel
LEIPZIG, Germany, May 10 (Reuters) - German personal
computer maker Lintec AG said on Monday that it has signed an
agreement with Intel Corp <INTC.O> to sell the chip maker's
full line of microprocessors and networking products.
Lintec said the pact would help it add a line of portable
notebook computers to go along with its desktop PCs. The
agreement should add about 70 million marks in sales next year,
with increased profitability.
In March Lintec reported 1998 sales of 376 million marks,
with profit on ordinary activities of 6.27 million marks.
