Has anyone attended the E3 and watched EIDSYs presentation? I think the fact that they haven't shown a alpha-version of TR4 at E3 is a slightly negative sign. O.K. they claimed that they want to put the press focus away from the TR franchise in order to put more attention in their other great products. I play some sort of "devils advocate" in this topic and ask myself the following questions: - In the past years the TR franchise accounts for nearly 70 % of EIDSYs revenues. It's vital that they show the next stage of their #1 blockbuster product to the public and the E3 was a great event to do so. So my next question is: Have they something to hide? Is TR4 behind schedule and there is so far only a story board at Core Design? Have the designers no real innovations so far and are they afraid most people will say: Oh no, that's just more of the old version? (I personally will never say so, as an addicted TR-fan, I will even buy some sort of TR part 28:"Lara Croft in the search of her wheel chair" ;-), but I don't claim that people like me represent the mass market and EIDSY certainly attract more than just the fans to generate big revenues. - The TR movie is now scheduled for y2k, releasing this movie in late 99 to prop up Xmas sales of TR4 would be far better. I heard the rumours about trashed scripts fro the TR movie, it's also unclear who will play the role of Lara Croft. - Another setback for Daikatana. I heard it should be released this autum (previously EIDSY set the release date for this June). I saw a report in TV claiming that the Daikatana graphics already look somewhat old (in fact that's the effect of the near two year delay of this product) and can't compete with the graphics of such games as Wheel of Time from GTIS (word is that the graphic engine is even better than those in Unreal). So if anyone has a idea why EIDSY is moving down right now, post it here. I admit, that I've no position in EIDSY right now. I've too much respect in this company to short this stock, but I still think that they're overvalued. Some weeks ago I said: Those who buy EIDSY at these high levels and think it'll go to 50 bucks a share, will spit blood later this year. When I take a look at the share price now, I bet some of these fund managers who were the supposed buyers of EIDSY at high levels are starting to get a little nervous. Right now, it's only sweat pouring out of these investors, but a few weeks or months from now it will be blood. Anyway, I'll buy them back below 15, yes 15, it may take until September or so until we reach that level, but that's for sure. Greetings Kai P.S.: I hope that I'll get not too much hate mails from EIDSY believers. I'm also a believer in EIDSY, but at lower prices ;-)
