I just saw Woody on Ch. 9 here in San Diego. They had two segments on e.Digital and ATCO (one of Woody's other companies that has a revolutionary speaker technology). They demoed the new EDIG music player, which showed only a mock-up of what it might eventually look like - sort of like a small remote-control device. The music was downloaded from a computer onto a 48 MB flash card in a device that looked like a "mouse". The flash card was then put into the music player to actually play it. The sound was "CD quality". They also showed the new Lanier device with the infra-red scanner tech. that will read text and download it directly into the computer, or record voice and download it as text into the computer. They said that the Lanier products will be shipped by the end of this month. The EDIG presentations were in two segments about 1/2 hour apart. I hope people saw both segments.
