Don, With all due respect, look at this thread. Everyone here fervently believes that their version of the translation and it's subsequent meanings are the best one. Most have no motive other than to know the truth. Many Biblical scholars, with no motive other than the truth, disagree vehemently about translation and meaning. It is NOT all attributable to the devious motivation of others. That doesn't change wether I open a Bible or not. Why do you think that many scholars with well meaning motivation, find different meanings? I would be very interested in your answer to that question. Mark
