Veridicom has an improved chip for CTST: biz.yahoo.com The PR emphasizes improved performance on static electricity and chip fragility. We need someone with technical credentials or industry familiarity to evaluate whether this upgraded chip is now competitive with optical systems. On another subject, IDX is coming up against a lot of stock being offered at $11 and 7/8. Last I looked, the bid had 600 shares at 13/16 and the offer had 20,000 shares at 7/8. That's the most I've ever seen at one price. UPDATE A couple of minutes later, the offer is at 11 and 7/8 for 11,000 shares and the bid is at 11 3/4 for 48,800 shares. Maybe we are seeing the ASCOM shares go by. These amounts are way higher than today's volume should be supporting.
