Dan, That does not address the underlying question. Your translations of the Bible are no better or worse than any other Christians. There are many theories and versions amongstChristians, including the decision to not take it literally(the most common opinion). Did god fail to take this into account? That would imply less than imperfection. Did he set many well intentioned Christians up for failure by not being clear enough, and ensuring different opinions? That would be less than perfection. Why do you believe that God is capable of keeping his word alive for decades, if not centuries, before it can be written down, but is not capable of doig it in a manner that would unite Christians instead of dividing them? lack of ability, lack of caring, or a misinterpetation of how his word and the meanings of it should be used?
