RE: Linux/NT

It was this report that the PCWeek story referred to. It contained the first report of a decline in NT market share. It wasn't much (0.8%) but I believe that the 4Q '98 is the first time ever that NT has lost market share in server OS

It will be interesting to see if Linux can keeps its momentum with the Win2000 onslaught.

Paul, Richard, GVTucker and thread, Re: "Servers grew 8% in rev in 98" and "High end servers fell 8.3% in rev"

Any comments on this, especially as it relates to Intel's overall ASP?

Thanks for the report Richard.
