LG,

You mean VLAD SENIOR!

I think you are missing the point behind apomorphine. The only thing it does is create a mild calming effect that would alleviate anxiety that is seen in psychogenic cases involving performance anxiety. Another point is that if apomorphine ever does receive approval it will be strictly regulated as a control drug since technically it is a narcotic. I think that in its first year apomorphine will be lucky to break $50M in sales. I just don't see much of a market for this drug.

I think that the market is ignoring the fact that the Vasomax news further strengthens Vivus' negotiating position for a domestic marketing partner. So Vasomax's NDA is denied and it will probably be another year if and when their product ever gets approved. Apomorphine is still in phase III clinical trials and is over a year away if and when it gains approval. The ICOS drug is even further away from reaching the market and IMO is the only real threat and IMO is only a threat to Viagra and not MUSE. So where is all this competition that the shorts were always blabbering about? We are doing 3 to 4k weekly scripts for almost a year now with no marketing to the PCPs.

IMO if Leland can't cut a deal by now for a domestic partner he needs to take a hike and find some one who can. Of course this has been my opinion for about 7 months.
