The LavaLogic unit has been formed to develop high productivity EDA software products. Its first product, a Java(tm)-to-Verilog RTL (register transfer level) compiler, is planned to be released in the third quarter of this year. Richard Bosenko has been appointed LavaLogic's new President, while Bob Barker has been appointed Vice-President of Marketing.
