I monitor my Free Memory using System Monitor...

I watched mine for a little bit and it was staying around 20% and spiking to 40% at times. I've got 64MB RAM also.

The bitmap thing is an interesting trick, any idea on why it does that?

Lou

<<Bump method: Create a folder and put about 10 full-size bitmaps in it. When your memory gets below 4MB free, open the bitmap folder and open and close one bitmap. Then open and close 2 bitmaps, ... until you have as much free memory as you want (if you get too greedy it won't work as well).>>>

What is a full-size bitmap??? I'm familiar with bitmap files but the term full-size bitmap is new to me. Thanks in advance.
