An interesting thing seems to be happening after MSFT's investment in NXTL. Even though it has nothing to do with the deal, another McCaw company, NXLK, is jumping more than it has in weeks, on no apparent news other than a debt offering that shouldn't have this positive effect. This is an outfit that provides competitive exchange and data services.
Here's info: nextlinkinteractive.com (which also links to the home page with more info.)

I've watched it for weeks, since I figure any company McCaw owns is worth watching, but have never gotten into it. It might be something else, but today's action sure does look like a sympathy jump on the expectation that if MSFT was talking to NXTL, they might soon make the trip down the road to talk with NXLK.

Whaddya think? Any relation?
