Are you sure?? As far as i know.. (im not 100% sure of course) that if a naz stock wants to use a otc-bb symbol, they are free to do so, and the otcc will have to come up with a new one.. im pretty sure thats how it works.. how would you destinguish between an otc and a naz then?? for example, in mytrak??

Thomas, all Nasdaq and OTCBB ticker symbols are unique. In the case of a potential overlap, Nasdaq usually "persuades" the OTC BB issue to change ticker symbol.

As far as I can recall, the last time that happened was with the Vertical Net IPO (VERT) (one very lucrative IPO for which I retain very fond memories). Nasdaq did more or less force the OCTBB stock VERT to change its ticker symbol to VERI.
