Doug, A "Just Because" style of attack would not have worked in Kosovo. We didn't have the resources, we didn't have confidence of absolute command of the air defense network that may have shot down considerable numbers of transports. And we didn't have the logistical infrastructure to support troops on the ground. It's a nice thought, but it just wasn't feasible at that time, let alone even now. (we can't even get 24 Apache helicopters into operation). Regards, Ron

Douglas, Russia is not even the the Third World! It is the Fourth World! gg I think Nigeria is to be taken more seriousls than Russians! It is poor, back-ward and ignorant, and corrupt. The only country where the business life is domiated by the Mafia and KGB. You try to open a ice cream business and you have to pay one or both to saty open. It is led by and alcoholic, Yeltisn. The Soviets were relly never a super-power. They want to teach us about civil rights?? The Chinese are even a bigger bluff! They have terrible human right records. As you know they are using the embassy boming to get entery into the world politics!! Kosovo is too far away from their world. Can you imagine 1 million chinese coming to Europe to fight for Milosovic. Despite repeated appologies from the President, they are still not happy. They want punishment for NATO people who made the mistake!!! Maybe, they want us to put them in front of firing squad and shoot them, Commuinsit style! NATO should bomb Serbia into Middle Ages! Then they will give up! The only language they understand as we saw in Bosnia. Take care, Yaacov
