<<<Gold futures fell on news that the U.K. Treasury plans to sell 125
metric tons of the metal from its reserves.

NBC will merge several of its Web assets with direct marketer Xoom
and portal site Snap to form a new company called NBC Internet. NBC
will get a 49.9% stake in the new company in return for $880

The bond market lingered just below unchanged as investors still showed signs of interest rate jitters and prepared to absorb this week's Treasury Department quarterly refinancing, as well as some corporate debt issuance. CUBE also up nicely today, around 7% with over three times average volume, closing near the day's high. Some fair-sized blocks going by, this is not a typical mo-mo stock. Check the CUBE thread for further details.
