Mohan, excellent points. Devote DELL heads like us have heard so much about GIGABUYS and DELL that we assume the general population has also, which is certainly not the case. I know DELL has an even bigger site with 40,000 items coming later this year. I would like to see them take business from Cyberianoutpost, Gateway, etc...

In an unrelated note, what are your thoughts on CPQ's new channel alignment. I see at as a boon to DELL since it solidifies CPQ's ties to the channel and severely reduces it's possibilities of becoming a large BTO player.

Mohan, I agree with you 100%. As one Dell manager I spoke to recently put it, Dell has so many opportunities to pick the low hanging fruit it is hard to choose which fruit to pick. As far back as the last annual meeting, Mikey indicated that Dell was focused on the high margin business of servers, workstations, notebooks, storage, small business and consumers. Dell will most certainly pick the low hanging fruit and out manage and out sell the rest of the industry in that segment.
