To Everyone, at the request of the author, I am passing this along.
Fom canaries on RB:

Okay... here it goes- it's a little long, but for those of you who have money invested you'll be glad you read it. I talked to Joe and got the run down...

JNNE is Joe Naughton, he runs two sub-companies, one is COMMUNITY MARQUEE and the other is GoOnline.com. They are not connected, they are not putting GoOnline.com on the kiosks, the kiosks and GoOnline.com are totally separate.

The kiosk are to be used as a cash cow to fund other projects, so let's get that straight- the plan is NOT for people to be watching infomercails on the kiosks. Joe's plan is everytime someone checks into a hotel they get a coupon for two or three free minutes, just enough to check their email. THEN, JNNE takes their marketing data to large advertisers, saying- "We have X amount of people checking their mail every month, and to advertise on the kiosk its going to cost you this much..." For those people who surf the net, they are the ones who will pay the cash (I think it's .20 per minute). He says that the road test is going great and they are getting and I quote "enormous amounts of cash" from the kiosks (meaning that alot of people are surfing the net, not just using the coupon for checking their email). I spoke to Pat Rost awhile ago and he said that the expected REVENUE was to be $30,000 to $50,000 and JNNE would NET about 30%, so we could figure ABOUT $10,000 PROFIT for each machine (give or take a grand or two). We still have to wait for the offical test results. BOTTOM LINE- THEY MAKE MONEY. Now, alot of people are complaing about why JNNE "sucks" so bad as far as signing up new hotels. I asked Joe what his marketing plan was (these things should sell VERY easily- no risk to the hotel). I asked him if he was planning on printing up a brochure or packet and mailing one to each Days INN in America, and he said that they are being printed THIS WEEK- so the plan is NOT actually to get one hotel at a time, but there is a plan to get these things all across the nation and soon. He said that JNNE has been featured in the hotel trade magazines, along with additional coverage of kiosks (in general, not JNNE) in the Wall Street Journal.
I had a friend of mine in Atlanta mail me some pictures of the kiosks and I just got them and put them onto a primative website for everyone to look at it- it looks pretty plush!
Finally the advertising on the kiosk so far as I can tell is from Star Wars and Harley Davidson (NY). This is ICOM NETWORK's doing and NOT JNNE's.

Here is the website....
velocity.net

This is alot of typing so more to come about what's going on with GoOnline.com....

Okay- part two!!!

GoOn-line.com is the comapny that JNNe acquired, and Scott is the president. They will sell many products on the web, not just coffee makers. They have hooked up with www.linkshare.com. Apparently, linkshare is a much bigger deal than people realize, because they are going to drive a TON of traffic to GoOn-line.com. You should go to the linkshare website and you will see what GoOn-line.com is headed to. Joe says that they will also advertise on the major search engines.

I really don't know too much about GoOn-line.com, however I do know that they are aiming alos for the technology to be able to let people on the internet participate in live events, such as a live auction in NY, you would be able to see the product and bid just as if you were there.

I think that the GoOn-line.com site wasn't all I expected, but as long as there's people going to it and they buy stuff from it, I really don't care. I do know that streaming video is not offered on alot of websites, and this makes the "ahead" in the area of interactive technology. I alo know that PAC-MAN sucked when it came out, but ATARI also made alot of money on it!
FINALLY:

No IPO of GoOnline.com. It's not necessary. He also said that they were going to bring in a new guy from XEROX.

As far as filing with the SEC, he said the deadline is Feb 15th and SHOULD be filing by Dec. 1st. He said he didn't want to waste money on it yet, and would like to delay it a little longer.

He said that CNBC called him for an interview when the stock made the first initial runup, and he said that he wouldn't go on the tv until GoOnline.com was up, so that when he was on tv he had something concrete to tell them. He said he is interested in going on CNBC when GoOnline.com goes up and he can drive some traffic there.

He also said that he owns more shares than anyone, and if there is anyone who wants the price to go up, it's definitely him!

So- to all the bashers out there when JNNE finally hits WSJ or CNBC, you are done. The price will skyrocket beyond control and there aint SH*T you can do about it. Until then, do your worst, it will only create a buying opportunity for the rest of us.

For all you longs- buy, hold, tell a friend, once this thing hits the spotlight, I DON'T KNOW HOW BIG THIS THINGS GONNA GET!!!

GOOD LUCK!
