To anyone regarding cable telephony encoding. Does anyone have any idea of the type of encoding that T will use in their phone over cable system, and how difficult will it be to build a box that allows one to listen to the phone conversations of their neighbors? With a shared media, such as cable, it would seem that this might be a major security and privacy question. If this has already been covered please just point me in the right direction. Thanks for any insight you can give.
