I was talking about real retroactive trading, like buying a stock today at a lower price which traded, say 3 weeks ago. Actually Mark Twain is good at a different trading method, guaranteeing there would be no losses: Buy low today and sell when the stock goes up tomorrow. If the stock doesn't go up tomorrow, don't buy it. Or something like that. But that isn't as good as retroactive trading with perfect hindsight, absolutely correct every time. Richard
