Guess that means they weren't in it to make money off the shares.

It's valued at about 32 million on the balance sheet , but i think it is worth a lot more than that, ATI's accounting was very conservative, i can't find it but i remember Antonen actually talking about it last year.(JMO).

Finnaly found that article on ATI where Antonen says he think (January 1998) that the stake in UICC is worth 176 millions, so the stock will probably drop sharply tomorrow :-) Maybe they need some $$$$ for acquisition, remember KY said after the CR deal more consolidation was needed in the industry.JMO.
