Fellow MRPS investors (at least I assume that's why most of us watch this thread), First off, let me state that I'm long on MRPS, which makes me a little bit of a doofus for trying to do dew dilly now, but I have to say the constant battle between the cheerleaders and doomsayers, while slightly amusing, sheds absolutely no light on the company. BB stocks are always a bit chancy, and it's usually because there's so little info available. I really am not trying to bash, and even entertaining thoughts of being hoodwinked makes me feel funny, but why should any of us be upset about a little fact-finding if it's going to protect our money? Let's talk about hard facts: •I love hearing the personal tributes but I could easily send in 20 of those using different aliases. It's easy to be anonymous on the web. •For $800, any one of us could, at any time, put out a news release. They aren't checked for fact; the money just pays for being released on the business wire. •Their webpage really sucks. It's only about 4 whole different pages that cicularly reference themselves. There is no hard info there whatsoever. I had to go to the Internic's "whois" to get any concrete contact info, and I've had no response as of yet (it's only been a few hours, though). •I called the business desk of the local Nashville newspaper just to chat about MRPS (or Ultraphonics). They didn't recognize their name, but did have one story in the files, from December 97, about MRPS's deal with (Bulova? Hamilton? can't remember who it was) for manufacturing their little hand held detector. Nothing whatsoever since then. I'd love to find a recent hard news item on them. So, I'm an agnostic about this, neither a trasher nor a real believer. My money's on the line, too, but so far it's low odds and I'm just hoping I'm not being taken. Everybody will just keep talking and pushing their point of view, but wouldn't we all love something concrete that we could touch and feel and see? -Bob, just wishin' and hopin'
