Yesterday we ate out at Picante, a kinda nice and kinda cheap Mexican restaurant in Chantilly. I asked the waitress when Mother's Day is celebrated in Mexico, because the last time I was in Mexico I remember seeing a lot of visiting on Mother's day. The waitress was from Peru, she said that in Mexico and Peru, Mother's Day is May 10.

I kind of felt like a fraud, we eat out all the time, and I am not a very good housekeeper, so I didn't need to be taken out to make up for my working my fingers to the bone. But I do like the flowers and the card. And then Chris gets the flowers and the card on Father's day, and my dad, too.

Joan, do you like glads? I had a friend who grew 600 acres of them. I used to get 5 dozen and had several vases to display them as they got smaller. What colors!!
