Small point, but a shareholder's rights plan is in effect once the board approves it. Shareholders ratify the plan subsequently but it is still in effect prior to that. Also unlikely that shareholders would not ratify later since the plan's implemented for the benefit of the shareholders.

It IS interesting that they have adopted the plan now, when they are trading at a price high in comparision to their historical stock price. Management must feel GLE is undervalued and the recent block purchases/sales may have spurred management to take protective measures.

Perhaps the company (I say perhaps) is getting their house in order so that may release more news or details? Any thoughts on that? If it was that one MIGHT assume that the news could be substantial?
