Interesting point of view. Indeed,it is not possible to have idea of the liquidity of Arca. I tried sometime, and I got filled, but it is not significant.

However, I do not see how Cybersmart limit order with ISLD on top could be better that directly using the ISLD book (maybe worse), while a Cybersmart market order, instead, gives you, so speaking, the option to place ISLD "market" orders, otherwise impossible.

It seems to me that Cybersmart market order should help when one wants badly to exit from a trade, but not so badly to accept to hit a lower level of ISLD by the "no display" feature. In this evenience, I see that your settings (ISLD direct first, then "all other ECN's" and "never use SOES) should work well. Attain seems to have a too small liquidity.
