kash, Re: Could spell bad news for whitney and celerons!!!!

Whitney may be but Celerons ?

SiS has ensured that the SiS630 is optimized for the latest Pentium !!! and Celeron CPUs.

If it is successful, it could spell bad news for non-Intel CPUs.

Kash - Re: "Could spell bad news for whitney and celerons!!!!"

Not to worry !

SIS recently licensed Intel's P6 chip set/bus technology from Intel.

Intel will make a few dollars royalty on every one they sell.

And I hope they sell 60 or 70 million this year !
