Buy vs. sell, that's not always clear, at least to me. Maybe someone else can offer insights.

The colors, though, are defined somewhere on the quote.com site, and Gibbons answered a similar question recently. Black is a trade that is not reflected in the chart, e.g. a trade outside normal trading times. Red is a trade at the low, so far, for the day. White is a trade that is between the high and the low, so far, for the day.

Up near the title bar there is a link called 'Legend' that will explain the colors. As far as I can tell you just have to make a 'best guess' as to which are buys and which are sells.
