ASTN floorless

I will be really surprised if the Series D & Series E have not been converted already (my guess is they were converted in January). We can confirm this when they file their 10-K in another 7-8 weeks. The Series A and Series B are probably not owned by aggressive investors(the offshore variety who short the stock into a death spiral).

ASTN desperately needs to raise $$$. They have around 2.4 million warrants which if exercised can generate around 13.5 MM for ASTN. I am expecting ASTN to call in the warrants (force them to be exercised) soon - we will probably hear about it this Friday or next Monday.

At the close today -
ASTN - 11.125
ASTNW - 5.96875

The warrants can be exercised at $5.85

The ASTNW warrants have a "premium" component. This premium component will gradually disappear over the next few weeks. ASTNW might even start trading at a small discount too.

Most warrant deals involve a 30-day period before which the warrants holders have to exercise their warrants. In this period, the stock usually goes down. We will have to wait and see if ASTN follows this trend or if the hype causes the downward pressure to be absorbed.

Regards.
Rajiv

Ted don't you think that the Ds and Es were probably already converted---roughly a million were available to convert at 2.45 ratio
if price of stock hit 1.25---which it did--my guess is the conversion is already done.Max90
