Not much said about running a gamer web site. TDFX's vision of the future is to provide entertainment and ease of use to the casual user. What do people think about the profit potential of running and maintaining a gaming community? Chip I know you've hosted some games yourself and many of you play on the net regularly. Can TDFX create a niche here? The PR just points to new games, trials, etc. sounds more like a show piece kinda sight. They may be doing it more for the publicity it can generate and to help maintain good developer relations than for the profit it could generate. This by itself sounds like a good market/branding strategy. Is this costly? Can we take it to the next step? (being that we're going to have all those superfast Dell's available ;) What is everyone's opinion on TDFX entering the gaming site arena. Joe C.

Pat, "Official" announcement on Talon PC at that site you referenced including press release (I guess for tommorrow). I'm not so sure I understand the "super secret" stuff after reading the press release but I'm probably missing something. It seems like their putting the 16 meg memory chips on the motherboard with the V3 2000 version chip? Is this common? Don't know too much about these guys. Is this good?
