<< The bombing isn't saving anyone. >>

You don't know this. The racist "Ethnic Cleansing" might've been worse without NATO intervention. At least, thanks to the courage of the KLA freedom fighters, there are safe havens in Kosovo. The KLA would not have had a chance without NATO bombing.

If we don't learn from history, it is bound to repeat. When the world gave Czechoslovakia away to Hitler, he was encouraged in his plans for world conquest. When the world turned it's back on the innocent Jewish families of the St Louis, Hitler was encouraged about his racist genocide plans.

If the free world had turned it's back on Kosovo, the criminally insane Slob Milosevic might have been encouraged to commit worse crimes than they have done up to now.

<< The Italians warned the US and Brits this would happen. >>

So, in hindsight, the Italians guessed right for once.

<< But if you're going to attempt to retain the land rights of the Kosovar, they need to use sufficience ground force. >>

I disagree, somewhat. We already have ground forces in Kosovo, they are called the KLA. But, OTOH, let's give bombing a little more time. It seems like cracks in the Milosevic dam are beginning to form.

<< The US under Bush failed to provide support to the Iraqi Kurds and the Shi'ites after the Gulf War after encouraging their revolt. >>

I felt that the Bush administration committed a criminal act by deserting the Shi'ites and the Kurds. They were sacrificed in an attempt to get at Saddamn Hussein. I don't think that the Bush administration ever intended to provide support.
