See the text window? Type in what you want to search for (which could be your name). Choose the search -- full text of all SI messages, or messages just on the thread you are in (to do that, open any message on that thread). Click on the Search button.

Some of the Web search engines have the older SI index pages indexed in their databases. You would have to know the keywords that appeared on the first line of the message and/or the poster's name. For example, at altavista.com, you could enter the following search criteria (no room for typographical errors!):

host:www.techstocks.com +"peter v" +"SI: C-Cube" and then look for the post you want in the resulting lists. You could leave the last keyword off to get a list of all SI index lists that show a message posted by you. The above criteria will result in this:

altavista.com
