Has anyone heard anything about a YHOO stock split? Didn't they authorize about a gazillion shares at the last BOD meeting?

I am wondering if that was to finance the acquisition of additional companies, or to provide enough authorized shares for splits. A stock split could be very helpful for those who have averages above the current price.

Some Yahoo investors "tick" more by owning a company with a bright future

That's the big question. A bright future. How does one define that? A company which has great price performance for it's stock or one that makes an incredible amount of money. Yahoo's gonna earn what this year? About $.60 or $.70? Is that successful?? Can the price continue to levitate based on these earnings?
