John, how true. Misfortune of course is that not only his "initiatives" fail, but horendous circumstances were created, better no deal than politically expidient and poll driven deals like Wye accord...We have not seen the last of this administration rain ..

Unfortunately, except for Kosovo, Clinton doesn't look past personal political gains and losses when it comes to making peace.

He forced a bad peace plan down Israel's and the PLO's throats in order to make himself look good. Doomed to failure.
