This could be the same thing, it's the thirty third annual Gen & Jewelry show, travels all over the country, it will be in San Mateo June 4-6, Santa Monica June 11-13, Seattle June 18-20, Portland June 25-27, Timonium, Md, July 2-4, Pasadena July 9-11. Among other places and times. It's "here" about four times a year, if Baltimore and Timonium, MD. count as "here." At least once a year in the Washington Convention Center, and at least once a year in a big hotel in Northwest. Hundreds of tables, millions of things, from the ridiculous to the sublime. Gold, diamonds, rubies, emeralds, "rocks", crystals, you name it. Mostly finished jewelry, or stuff to make finished jewelry. Maybe there were pentagon dodecahedra, if that isn't a contradiction in terms.
