VUSA earnings. Look pretty good! Revenue for the quarter was $28.0 million, a 1,173 percent increase over revenue of $2.2 million in the comparable period a year ago. In addition, first quarter revenue represented a 48 percent increase over revenue of $18.9 million for the fourth quarter ended Dec. 31, 1998. This growth is due to a significant increase in the Company's customer base and repeat purchases from existing customers, as well as an overall increase in demand resulting from Value America's expanding array of merchandise. biz.yahoo.com
