Philip & Intel Investors - Intel's 550 MHz Pentium /// is ALREADY AVAILABLE !

This afternoon I was down at Fry's Electronics in the Bay Area and already on the store shelves is an HP Model 8495 550 MHz Pentium /// PC - for only $2499 - including a CD-RW drive lots of memory and hard disks, etc.

This is essentially their "old" price for the "now slower" 500 MHz Pentium /// !

So, once again, Intel beats their own introduction schedule.
