As a shareholder who understands what an incredible opportunity THRM is at these levels, it warms me all over to see PCRoomLink getting industry coverage. Below is text copied from a trade magazine geared towards upscale Bed & Breakfast type establishments. This was from an article in the April 99 issue!!! Millville, N.J.-based Solar Communications Group Inc. recently introduced in-room computer services called PCRoomLink to the hospitality and business travel industry and will soon supply properties across the country with PCs and all the required interfaces to receive local Internet access from the comfort of a guestroom. By providin PCRoomLink, small properties will be able to offer guests immediate in-room Internet and e-mail access even if they do not travel with laptop computers. "Until now, travelers have had to rely on cumbersome and costly dataports to access remote data servers," says Rick Rivera, vice president of marketing and sales for Solar Communications Group. "PCRoomLink will allow guests to check their e-mail or surf the Net without leaving their guestrooms. No longer will travelers have to carry a personal computer and dial a long-distance number just to retrieve their e-mail messages." PCRoomLink supplies the computers, desks or armoires, network servers, routers and high-speed dedicated access to the Internet and e-mail messages for one low cost through a lease agreement. Guests have a choice of using their own laptop or may request a room with a PCRoomLink computer. High-quality connections ensure a clear data channel at speeds of up to 1.544 megabits per second. Once the service is in place, the company will list PCRoomLink properties on its Web site, located at www.pcroomlink.com, so potential travelers can select inns or hotels with the service. Each property decides the number of rooms to equip with a PC and determines the daily rate to charge its guests. Solar Communications Group leases all network components to the property and maintains all equipment, and trained personnel monitor all network components 24 hours a day. The service connects all PCs to a local area network and then to the Internet via dedicated circuits.
