History is on your side, oh mindmelder. Back when the race was SDRAM vs. EDO DRAM, SDRAM carried a price premium. Then as SDRAM production ramped up, its prices dropped below EDO DRAM. Same thing with PC100 SDRAM vs. the old PC66. PC100 SDRAM used to carry a price premium. Nowadays, PC100 SDRAM costs just as much as PC66 SDRAM.
