Howdy, Take Heart Carolyn, there Already Is a collective response...for one thing there's our project that I call "Sternwerk" that we've been working on right here on Techride. We're not alone, Howard Stern Show has less ads than before, many other folks are working on that or other cultural anti-pollution projects and they won't be forgetting about it soon either. Here's a list of some participants in this conference from different online newspaper articles: 1) Jack Valenti (movie studio lobbyist & President of the Motion Picture Association of America 2) Recording Industry Association of America 3) National Association of Broadcasters 4) National Cable Television Association 4) Interactive Digital Software Association 5) Steve Case, CEO of America Online 6) American Medical Association 7) American Shooting Sports Council 8) Secretary of Education Richard Reilly 9) Gunmakers - Smith & Wesson, Glock, O.F. Mossberg & Sons 10) Senator Orrin Hatch of Utah - proposing Federal investigation into whether Hollywood is marketing violent products Especially To Youths. So, if this was a One Day Wonder and a Photo Op in The White House, who's to say it'll be a One Day Wonder as far as the public goes?! Maybe this time we won't be disappointed. If a real memorial to those children's deaths comes from this with true efforts made yielding results to improve the lives of the rest of them, then it'll be more than Just A Photo Op.
