As I said, a terrible tragedy that NATO ( and we ) are responsible for and embarrasingly one that is inexcusable. Worse of all, perhaps the next incompetence will result in the death of our own forces from some type of friendly fire. What will we say to the parents and spouses- Gee we can't explain why a current map did not get into our military database, but we are working on the problem? Makes me want to make sure my house gets into that database- for all I know my whole area could be listed as farmland!

Hi Ron,

I am pleased also. Unfortunately, I am reduced to inferring price movements from macro-political events. This company generates so little news but at what it does generate is usually very good <g>.

IMHO, the Chinese government will use this event as a counterpoint to U.S. claims of human rights abuses, trade violations, and weapons shipments but nothing more. This explains the government-sponsored hostility among the people and the refusal of the government-run media to broadcast any of NATO's profuse apologies. IMHO the Chinese reaction to these events warrants analysis as to the growing influence of this enormous nation on the world stage. Thus far it has been a political reaction so the business community may rest easy.

Thanks for the Namtai results - I am sure that this had a more direct effect on the price movement than anything else. The thread benefits greatly from your posts.

John

Hey Ron,

It's been a long time since I've said anything. I see your still busy with this stock. After 2 years of waiting for something to happen to DSWL, I bailed out last week on an uptick. The current quarter 19 cents earnings and predictions of a slow recovery for 2 more quarters seems to confirm my view of DSWL. DSWL will be staying in this 12 to 9 range for another year. I remember when DSWL was earning more than $2.50 a year and yet it price was around $19. I believe Chinese stocks are given a lower valuation. Ron, there comes a time when you have to throw in the towel, I have done it plenty of times. I hope your actively researching others stocks and draw a line on when DSWL will perform. There are plenty of stocks out there, for example NMGC, Its a more interesting story than DSWL, I don't own it yet but am getting money for it. Whatever you decide to do, good luck to you.
