Doesn't he remind you of one of those Bright Young People who has just discovered Objectivism, or Communism, or Christianity, or any other thought-system with an internal logic? The ones who find internal logic for the first time, decide that This Is It, and embrace that idea with a passion that dismisses all other possibilities?

Most people, though, reach a point fairly quickly where they start to line that internal logic up against external reality, and drop back to a more realistic - and open - position.

Only a fundamentalist - one who refuses to submit internal logic to the demands of external reality - could argue that morality is black and white and absolute. And fundamentalists are not worth arguing with. Especially rude ones.

For every one on this thread who expresses those feelings, there are many more who PM me and send me emails telling me they understand what I'm saying and are cheering me on.

Thank you, all those who truly see...
