So, subjective interpretations such as yours, justify illegal destruction of the property and lives of sovereign nations? The PLO wouldn't exist if the Palestinians weren't displaced in the first place - by Western fiat. These things happened - they are history - but great injustices were done - causing people to live in refugee camps for generations - not something we'd wish on our comfortable selves for a second. dd

The historic parallels between Balkans and Middle East are striking...
As for Hussein, not only he killed many more women and children in civil war along with PLO fighters/terrorists than Milosevic, but his belligerent stance and tragic and numerous errors greatly contributed to 1967 war, lost of West Bank
and Jerusalem and creation of quasi "palestian State within Jordan" very similar to Kosovo state
Hussein of course got a lot wiser in his later years...
