Vman, "Do people in the US actually eat sheep?" Sure! Heaps of Moslems for a start. Personally, I think sheep should be treated as friends. They value their lives almost as highly as the Chinese culture values human life. You should meet my pal Dolly. She's a babe!

"Do the Chinese actually buy anything from the US?"

Vman you are teasing me! You know I am getting tired. Please re-read diatribe number 31415 from about a month ago wherein the
'conservation of money flow', same as the 'conservation of momentum' for engineers, was explained. Briefly, even if China buys nothing from the USA, the USA might be highly dependent on China for sales.

For example, Saudi Arabia sells oil to Japan and Australia. Australia sells iron and coal to Japan. Japan sells cars and stuff to China. China sells nearly everything we Australasians buy - I can't remember when something didn't have 'Made in China' on it. We Kiwis and Australasians own USA stocks such as Qualcomm and Globalstar. Saudi Arabia also sells oil to the USA. The USA sells Globalstar and Qualcomm handsets to Saudi Arabia.

I get the profits.

See, simple eh?!

Now you can see that if the USA was taken out of the loop, things would come to a standstill. Same for 'Made in China'. Things would go very slowly all round.

But I'm sure you knew that.

[Russia sells gas to Europe and crashes Zenits to enhance the world's economy though I remain unconvinced that crashing rockets is economically productive. Maybe bombing the Chinese embassy will be economically productive. I doubt it]

Jon, you can't even spel John, so how on earth do you think you can spel dyxlexics?

VM -

I told my wife the other day that someone had just cloned Claudia Schiffer and that one would be able to place and order soemtime nexct year. This I expained was desigend to be good for ones marriage since having one at home would tend to relieve ones occasional 'urges'.

My wife was horrifed and outraged at this suggestion unitl I explained to her that wives would have absolutely no reason whatsoever to be jealous since the cloned Claudia was in fact a sheep and only looked and sounded like Claudia!

Best regards,

L
