In my list of items that will make the Jan00 CC important for QNTM, I forgot to mention at least one more important one, which this post on the HTCH thread reminded me of: Message 9457834 The question of how quickly the digital VCR will take off. Of course, this question (as with the others) may be answered well before then. If the post referenced above is any indication, it will be a smashing success, the only questions being when it will really take off, and whether QNTM's apparent head start and their relationship with MKE/Panasonic will make them the supplier of choice with VCR vendors. One can only hope that it be So. Just adds to Q's potential. s.
