That one started with a joke, I should have put a few <g>s in to make it clear. Forget it. Here's a more serious one: Truths we all accept: We don't have the right to kill people. We do have the right to kill in self defense. BUT At what level of threat is it acceptable to invoke self-defense in defense of a killing? The point: most supposed "objective truths", in real-world situations, must be filtered through subjective, changing and potentially fallible perceptions. Black and white may be nice, but they aren't real. Do you think they are? Where do you draw the line in the case above?
