Bobby Beara:

I have been watching the same thing, and the trend indicators are turning around. It is not out of the water yet, but it is starting to look better. DOT looks as it is in even a better shape yet. with a couple of indicators, giving buy signals. Even the trending indicators have or is showing signs of turning. Same with the NAZ.

But on the flip side of the coin, the volumes are still shrinking. And none of the indexes have broken out of their trading ranges except for the RUT. And worse yet, the VIX has established an uptrend. Macd on the verge of crossing over to give a sell signal for the INDU.

I went long today following my trading system but I am far from being confident. The rest of this week will tell us where this market wants to go. Best thing to do is to be patient at this time.

Regards,

Jaime

Bobby, i too have a soft spot for hardware...i admit it, i like CPQ. long term support slightly above 22 has held and it has started to attack one of it's bear gaps. i even like COMS (which nobody else likes,as far as i know). clearly the chart is saying it wants to go higher.
